I think I was billed after I canceled my subscription...

If you went through the cancelation process and you were still billed, there may be a number of reasons.

First and foremost, make sure you know what the charge is for! Contact CCBill at 1-888-596-9279 to see if the billing was for our site. CCBill handles billing for thousands of websites. That charge may not be from us!

There's one sure way for you to know whether your cancelation has been successfully recorded; CCBill automatically sends out a confirmation message to the email address you typed in when you submitted your credit card or checking account information. Keep this receipt, at least until you're sure you haven't been charged again. If you never received that email, check to make sure you're still using the same address you signed up with. If so, your account probably wasn't canceled.
